The van Gogh Brothers return to Toad on Friday, April 19th at 10:00 PM after a 12+ month hiatus. We will play some of our new tracks from the forthcoming album, “A Whole New Day”. After we finish at 2:00 AM, we will take another 12+ month hiatus, rest up, and return to Toad in 2014. So don’t miss it!
An intimate “Almost Unofficial Summer” evening of music poolside in the Cactus Lounge at the Standard at 8300 Sunset, on Tuesday May 21st at 7:30 PM with Bliss Bowen & friends. Phoebe Bridgers will take the first 40 minutes or so with a small acoustic ensemble. Bliss and special guest artists follow and Scarlet Rivera and I will play the final set until 10:00 PM or so.

Reuniting with Music City at the Billy Block Show (Western Beat) on Tuesday, March 5th at 8:00 PM. Annie Clements joins me on vocals and bass with Mark Jones on guitar, and His Majesty, Billy Block, on drums and percussion. 11-year old Lauren brings her perfect pitch, uncanny emotional depth and unaltered natural grace on her debut of Hillary Lindsy’s “Windows on a Train” as part of out set!
The second annual American Music Partners Champagne Reception returns to The Standard Hollywood, 8300 Sunset, on Thursday October 18th from 7-9 PM. The reception will be held poolside in the Cactus Lounge. I will perform 3-4 songs accompanied by Scarlet Rivera (Dylan’s legendary Rolling Thunder Revue) on violin, pal Craig MacIntyre (Seal, Colbie Caillat, Josh Groban) and up-and-comer Sharaya Mikael on backing vocals. Space is limited and the event is near capacity as of this writing.
